This picture is part of a series featuring the model on various positions in front of that background. They convey an impression of uneasiness and unrest, something disturbing and powerful, that Is further reinforced here by the presence of the gun, the clenched fist and the angry face of the model.

The composition is very straightforward and efficient. No rule of thirds or anything like that (although the hands would fit there) but a plain, direct, efficiently centered subject that attracts all the attention.

Technically, the lighting is brilliant. The eyes are buried within their shades and the light zones on the body highlight powerful words. Terrors is particularly evident.

I forgot what the text in the background was about, but it does not have to matter. You can spend minutes and minutes deciphering the text or just look at it as a background complicated enough that it magically and simply becomes a picture. In any way, it does not divert our eyes from the main subject.

In summary, a brilliant and powerful picture !
